tour (GAET) :D

:D

I can't express anymore about my feelings now. I just think that I'm one of the lucky people who can be an impromptu tour guide (for me it was so boast!) :D

unthinkable on my mind that I will have this great experience before :D

initially, my story was begun from the news that my father's friend from Yemen, Arab came to Jogja with his family. he will visit his relation in Solo and spent their holiday in Indonesia, most in Jogja. unfortunately, my father was out of town when he has come and at the same time, his friend who is also friend of my father must went to Jakarta for his work business.
so, my mother has initiative to accompany him (his name is Mr. Achmed) and his family to take a promenade in Jogja. and then, our trip was begun next day.

:D :D :D :D :D (I can't stop smiling..ahahaha!)

in sunny monday at 10 am we started our trip. firstly, my family (my mother, uncle, and relation) rent a car and picked  Mr. Achmed's famz (later I will mention "Mr. Achmed and his family" with "Mr. Achmed's famz") in Grand Quality Hotel to my boarding house for picked me up too.
Yash, after all members was completed (I am, my mother, uncle, relation, Mr. Achmed, his wife (Mrs. Nisrin), his son (Mehdad), and Mr. Ivan as driver) we were going to Borobudur temple in Magelang.

1) Borobudur Temple
the trip to Borobudur temple would be taken time about one up to one half hour. this morning, Merapi's status was enhanced to "beware"  from "standby". Merapi looked so blur covered with fog.

along the road, I introduced myself to Mr. Achmed's famz and vice versa. Mr. Achmed told me a lot of things like the relation about him and my father, how he could't eat "sambal" (he coundn't eat sweet food actually), how he was so impressed of Indonesian natures, until "syawarma". hahahah. do you know syawarma? he said that syawarma is the original name of kebab, the way of people in Arab call it. the differences of kebab and real syawarma were in Indonesian meat is not cooked well 100% and it used oil when it cooked.
another topic we talked about is furniture in Yemen. at there, all furnitures including chair, table, and other were imported from China and the quality was so bad, not durable. they used frail imitation material.

a lot of things we talked each other made me forget were the details

--------------------------------------------------

and you know what? they said my speaking English was good and my face was blushed. hahahah! ;)

*blushing...

--------------------------------------------------

finally we have arrived at Borobudur temple. we walked around and climbed up the steep stairs of the temple. Mrs. Nisrin walk slowly because she was pregnant. we walked-talked-took pictures-worshipped-laughed-played in Borobudur. during the trip I tried to be a good tour guide with explaining some information about Borobudur, but that's so minimalist. *I'm so sorry I have not prepared before. huhuhuh! :(

one annoying things was the entrance ticket for foreign tourists is so expensive! $15! if one dollar = Rp 9.000,- please multiply it to rupiahs ... one foreign person must gave off Rp 135.000,-. almost sevenfold as much! that's why charge for overseas travelling is so high (-_-)'

say cheese!

like brooding something bad, huh?

Mehdad's expression when he drank mineral water. look his cheeks! so cutie are you! :D

bungee jumping in borobudur version. hohohoh! what a harmonious family! :)

before went out from the complex, we have bought some souvenirs :)

2) Baba Raffi's Kebab
our next destination was Baba Raffi's Kebab which located in front of forestry faculty of UGM, besides of Gama Book's store. At there we ordered eights kebab, threes were without cooked oil, one for Mehdad was no spicy. I just can't imagine how they will survive in Indonesia in long period with only eat kebab, no rice all along day? that's not me deeply! (maksudnya : itu bukan aku banget!) ahahahahah.. for me, rice is my paradise of food ... XD

3) Mosque of Gadjah Mada University
after our belly was fullfilled with kebab, we continued our journey to UGM's mosque to prayed. man in first level and women in second level. when Mrs. Nisrin would take ablution, she opened her veil and she looked so beautiful! I believe that woman with veil which closed her face and body although overall very closed, will look so pretty inside. and it proved! ;)
in toilet, Mehdad had changed his diaper and couldn't stop behave loiter. I'm gonna catch him! :D ahahahah!

Mehdad and his new friend, with their sincere face. hey Mehdad, what are you looking for above?
4) Tugu's Station
after maghrib, we went to Tugu's station for booked the ticket to Jakarta on Tuesday morning, one day after our trip. alhamdulillah, the procedure was no serpentine and took a few times.
at there, Mehdad was interested with the train's rail track and refused to go out from the station. he almost cried. (n_n)

5) Malioboro
malioboro was our last visiting place. malioboro was one major street at Jogja, especially in south region. night, crowded, sparkling lamp, wheeled carriage by horse a.k.a andong, open-air streetside restaurants a.k.a lesehan, and angkringan were the exact words could describe it. that nite, the moment and view were so awesome! :)

we entered one by one stores along the lane street. Mr. Achmed wanted to buy some sarong. he said sarong from Indonesia had variety motive in different colours.
after rounded, Mr. Achmed's famz has gotten slipper, wallet and some accessories.
we got lot goods today! :D

this fabulous trip was closed by escorted me to my boarding house. before go out from the car, I conveyed all my sense of guilt and gratitude during the expedition. and vice versa!
I said goodbye for all especially for Mehdad who had success make my day passionately. I hope we could meet again in the different time and place. aammiinnn!
and then, I went out of the car.

:)

--------------------------------------------------

become a tour guide is not hard as I think. indeed, I feel that to speak directly is easier than writing, although my grammar is so horrible! ahahahaah! 8D

maybe if I could take an analogy, speaking English like the moment that you ride rollercoaster. you just let yourself flow the track, scream while you think you must do it, and enjoy the grooves. same with it. in speaking English you should let yourself follow the conversation's line you will go to, say something if you know you have to do, and enjoy the conversation.
the rule is don't think too much to get the appropriate words if it will wasting your time .. let your lips say the current words in your mind. don't worry to much about your grammar.
no need to speak complex sentence, just say simple conversation and let it flow.

the important point is foreigner understands what you talk about. just it!

--------------------------------------------------

this day was full of English and I really really enjoy my wonderful journey ..
THANKS MY GOD!
I hope I will get the better experiences again!
